In a series of blog posts, we will dive into Proteins. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proteins are special substances found in all living things, including plants, animals, and even humans. They are made up of tiny building blocks called amino acids, which join together to form long chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proteins have important jobs in our bodies. Some proteins act like workers and help chemical reactions happen faster, just like a superhero speeding things up. Others have a structural role, like the frame of a building, giving cells and tissues their shape and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proteins also help transport important substances in our bodies. Imagine them as little trucks carrying things from one place to another. They can carry oxygen in our blood or help move nutrients into our cells.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another important role of proteins is in communication. They can act like messengers, sending signals between cells, just like text messages or phone calls between friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proteins are like the superheroes of our bodies, doing many different jobs to keep us healthy and functioning properly. Without proteins, our bodies wouldn’t work the way they should!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deepmind, one of Google’s companies has for years been trying to solve the puzzle of how the protein “fold up”, a problem scientists have been working on for approximately 50 years. A solution that would solve the next generation of medicines and materials. AlphaFold<\/p>\n\n\n
